भारत सरकार द्वारा गर्भवती श्रमिक महिलाओं व उनके बच्चे के स्वास्थ्य के लिए प्रधानमंत्री मातृ वंदना योजना (PM Matru Vandana Yojana) की शुरुआत की गई है। इस योजना के तहत केंद्र सरकार द्वारा 11,000 रुपए की आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान की जाती है, जिससे गर्भवती महिलाएं अपने स्वास्थ्य के साथ-साथ अपने बच्चे के स्वास्थ्य का भी ध्यान रख सकें। इस योजना का लाभ उठाने के लिए महिला की आयु कम से कम 19 वर्ष होनी आवश्यक है। इस योजना में आवेदन करने के लिए आधार कार्ड, मूल निवास प्रमाण पत्र, बच्चे का जन्म प्रमाण पत्र, बैंक पासबुक, पासपोर्ट साइज फोटो, मोबाइल नंबर आदि की आवश्यकता होती है।
