Fissure turns a Druid into a strong group clearer in D2R, covering the ground with fire while you stay mobile. You don't need to shop for D2R Ladder Items to get started; focus first on learning where to cast, keeping mana available, and planning for enemies your fire can't handle.

How do you level a Fissure Druid

Start in the Druid's fire skill tree and work toward Fissure. Once it's available, make it the center of your leveling plan rather than spreading points across every skill that looks useful. Firestorm is useful early and remains relevant because it supports Fissure through a synergy.

After investing in Fissure, look at its synergies, including Firestorm and Volcano, to improve its damage. Check the skill descriptions as you spend points so you can see what supports your main attack. A focused build makes it easier to judge what's working before you commit points elsewhere.

Keep another fire skill accessible for awkward fights. Fissure is at its best against groups moving across the affected ground, but you won't always get a tidy pack to stand where you want it. Adjust your position rather than repeatedly casting into an empty patch.

Where should you cast Fissure

Cast where enemies are going, not just where they're standing. Doorways, narrow approaches, and the space between you and an advancing pack give monsters a reason to move through the fire. Back away enough to keep that route open, then reposition if the group scatters.

Don't chase every survivor into unexplored rooms. Pulling more monsters while your attention is on one target can turn a comfortable fight into a scramble. Let the pack come to you when possible, and leave yourself an exit before committing to a position.

What gear does a Fissure Druid need

Look for equipment that helps your fire skills and supports your casting, but don't ignore survival. Resistances, life, and mana can make a practical leveling item more useful than a damage upgrade that leaves you exposed. Compare pieces against the problems you're actually having.

If you're running out of mana between fights, carry potions and avoid casting again before you've seen what the first Fissure accomplishes. Against a small or scattered group, repositioning can be more efficient than trying to cover the entire screen with fire.

How do you deal with fire-immune enemies

Fire immunity is the point where a fire-focused leveling plan needs a backup. Your mercenary or party members may be able to handle an enemy that your main attack cannot. Keep them supported and give them room to work instead of spending mana on attacks that aren't helping.

Some encounters are better skipped if they aren't required for progress. If immune enemies become a recurring obstacle, consider a different skill setup rather than forcing the same approach through every area. Plan that change around the content you want to play next.

Should you change your Druid build later

Fissure is a useful leveling foundation, not an obligation to keep the same setup forever. Before changing skills, decide what you want your Druid to clear and what equipment you already have. A respecialization can give you a fresh allocation, so make the choice with your next build in mind.

For now, keep Fissure focused, cast ahead of moving packs, and carry enough mana to stay comfortable. Next, review your equipment and decide how you'll handle fire immunity; you can buy D2R Runes later if they fit the setup you choose, but they aren't a substitute for a solid leveling plan.
